The Dales Way Association

The Dales Way Association was formed in 1991 to take an active interest in all aspects of the route and to aim for improvements where necessary. The Association has been instrumental in purchasing, and arranging the installation by the relevant Authorities, of special way marks along the route including the Links. In the past few years there has been some success in realigning the route to minimise road walking.

Membership of the Association is by annual subscription and for this members receive a free copy of the Dales Way Handbook together with Newsletters in the Spring and Autumn. The AGM is held in the Dales in April or May.

A number of mementos are also available for sale from the Association. These include badges, certificates, sweat shirts, hats etc. Unfortunately, the Association cannot supply maps or guide books.
